Passenger Lands On Pergola During Claremore Wreck

Three people were injured in a rollover wreck in Claremore Sunday afternoon. Claremore Police Department Captain Cary Akins said the wreck took place around 12:15 p.m. at 2096 Lynn Riggs Boulevard. 

A driver having some kind of medical episode ran into the back of another car then left the road and rolled. A passenger was thrown from the car and landed on top of a pergola belonging to a business. That person was conscious and talking when taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

Two others in the car were also hurt and transported to the hospital, according to police. Neither driver was injured.

Family picked up the driver with the medical condition, Atkins said.
