Jury Recommends 215 Years For Tulsa Man Guilty Of Child Sexual Abuse

A jury has found a 52-year-old Tulsa man guilty of child sexual abuse and recommended he be sentenced to 215 years in prison.

Timothy Cato was charged in 2014 with sexually abusing boys from 7 to 15 years of age.  Prosecutors said Cato worked as a volunteer at a DHS children's shelter.

His trial began on October 31st.

Thursday evening, a jury convicted Cato on 11 charges of child sexual abuse and one charge of possessing child pornography.
