Tulsa Woman Gets 60 Years For Letting Boyfriend Abuse Daughter

A Tulsa County woman gets 60 years in prison for letting her boyfriend abuse her 4-year-old daughter and then not getting her medical care.

Prosecutors say Kerry Lalehparvaran let John Purdy babysit her daughter. She told police she knew Purdy hit the girl with a wooden paddle and a leather belt and choked the little girl.

She said she'd been beaten up badly before and never went to the doctor, which is why she didn't take daughter to one.

Purdy is already in prison for abuse.
