Kellyville Man Accused Of Leading Police On Chase In Stolen Truck

A Kellyville man is in jail accused of leading Tulsa police on a chase in a stolen pickup.

Police say an officer spotted Daniel Anderson driving a maroon Dodge truck near 41st and Harvard around 6 p.m. Saturday.

When the officer tried to stop the truck they say it drove off.

Police say Anderson reached speeds of about 65 miles per hour during a five to six mile chase before crashing.

Officers said Anderson tried to run after the crash before he was taken into custody by a K9 officer.

They said he received minor dog bites and was taken to a hospital to be treated before being booked into jail.

Anderson now faces charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and eluding an officer.
