Woman Hurt When SUV Crashes Into Bartlesville Walmart

A woman was hurt when an SUV crashed through the front doors of the Walmart.

According to Bartlesville Police, the woman driving the SUV was attempting to back out of a parking space in front of the store when the SUV crashed through the front doors of the store. 

The SUV hit a woman who was sitting on a bench, according to police. An ambulance took her to a hospital but police did not know the extent of her injuries.

Police said two people were in the SUV. The woman who was driving the SUV was taken to the hospital, possibly because of being in shock, police said.

The SUV knocked over a bollard, a steel pole designed to prevent this kind of incident, and smashed through the glass doors on the grocery side of the store.
