BA Animal Shelter Offers Free Adoptions During Weeklong Event

If you are looking for just the right dog or cat for your family, the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter is hosting an event that might be just what you've been looking for.

The Broken Arrow Animal Shelter will be offering free animal adoptions October 24-29, waiving the normal adoption fee of $63 during the Freedom Ride Adoption Event.

The shelter staff hand-picked the animals that will be available for adoption during the event, according to a shelter news release.

The animals up for adoption have gone through the shelter’s wellness program which includes being spayed or neutered and having a current rabies vaccination, the release states.

About 15 dogs and 10 cats are up for adoption this week. 

The brand new event is intended to help families find a new pet. This event’s focus will be towards individuals and families and will not extend to rescue groups.
