Man Arrested In Stabbing At Tulsa Motel

Tulsa police arrested a man after a stabbing around 4:30 Monday morning at the Extended Stay Inn and Suites near 41st and Memorial. Police say Christopher Barwise and a woman were fighting, and another man jumped in to help.

The suspect then stabbed that man in the stomach with what police describe as a butterfly knife. The victim is in serious condition, according to police.

The woman was not hurt.

Barwise, 23, was booked on a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon.
