Warm weather is back on tap as we wrap up Oktoberfest and wrap up the weekend!
More sunshine is headed our way for our Sunday, with some high clouds filtering through at times. Despite a few periods of clouds, we’ll see another nice warm-up with highs near or a little above the 80-degree mark this afternoon and a steady south breeze.
It’s shaping up great for the last day of Oktoberfest!
A weak boundary will nudge down near Green Country tonight into Monday morning, helping our winds relax by the nighttime hours with lows eventually settling back into the 50s. Expect close to carbon-copy conditions on Monday as highs look to climb back near the 80 degree mark once again with the pattern of cool mornings and above normal afternoon warmth continuing.
In fact, afternoon temperatures look to hold very steady near the 80 degree mark for most of the next several days! Our next quick-moving storm system swings through on Wednesday, with a slight chance of storms during the day Wednesday.
The front associated with that storm system looks to do very little, if anything, to cool off our temperatures, with afternoon highs remaining several degrees above normal right on through the end of the week and possibly getting even warmer by next weekend! For now, the BIG fall chill is nowhere to be found.
