Police Seek Teen In Death Of Tulsa High School Football Player

Police are asking for the public's help to find a Tulsa teen charged in connection with the August shooting death of a East Central High School football player.

Deonta Mullins, 19, was charged with first-degree murder on August 31st.

On August 23rd, Marquis Mullins was shot and killed.  Police say Marquis was a passenger in a van at the time.  Also in that van, was Zaire Ross, Chrishun Smith and Deonta Mullins.  

Police say Ross and Smith shot at two people walking on South 125th East Avenue.  Their shots missed, but as the van sped away, police said an adult fired a gun at the van, hitting Marquis Mullins, who later died at a Tulsa hospital.

Zaire Ross and Chrishum Smith, who are also charged with first-degree murder are in the Tulsa County jail awaiting a court hearing in November.
