Alro Steel Expands To New Tulsa Facility

 Alro Steel, a metals distributor and processor, celebrated a new expansion in Tulsa - along with a membership in the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce. Alro is a metal distributor known as the "grocery store for metals."

The company has been in business since 1948 and offers metals, industrial supplies and plastics in 12 states. General manager Shawn Dick said they moved from a 9,000 square-feet building on the west side of Tulsa where they had been since 1999.

Their new facility is 76,000 square feet. They added about 10 jobs during the expansion to 4321 North Garnett Road.
