The Tulsa County issued a first-degree murder warrant Thursday for the man they suspect shot and killed Norman Huntley October 2, 2016, while Huntley was working security at an event.
Tulsa County issued a warrant for the arrest of Byron Terrail Penn, 31, of Tulsa, for the murder of 42-year-old Norman Huntley, a Tulsa security guard, who was shot and killed while working security at an event at the Route 66 Event Center, a TPD news release states.
Tulsa Police requested the public's help Tuesday in identifying a person of interest in the shooting that happened around 4 a.m. October 2 at 5941 East 11th Street. TPD said they were able to identify Penn with the help of information from the public.

Penn has a long history with the Department of Corrections and was released July of 2011 after serving five years for felony possession of a firearm and several deferred sentences for second-degree burglary, according to the DOC.
