Shower chances are highest across western Oklahoma today but a select few could make it into areas northwest of Tulsa. There will still be a mix of clouds and sun later today and highs are expected to be a few degrees warmer than yesterday afternoon.

Highs will be reaching close to 77 in Tulsa. Slightly cooler north and west of Tulsa, a denser cloud deck should situate through the morning and early afternoon.

Tonight we'll still have clouds around with a warmer Monday morning. Temperatures in the morning in the low 50s. Kids will need a jacket at the morning bus stop or maybe light layers.

Leading into the afternoon, it will be warmer yet with highs near 80. Tuesday looks to be the warmest and sunniest day of the week. Highs should get into the low to mid 80s for Green Country. Winds will be stronger as the pressure gradient tightens ahead of a cool front.

A cool front is expected on Wednesday which will bring in a chance for showers. Shower chances remain around 20 percent on Wednesday as it does not look like there will be a lot of forcing associated with front and upper level wave, keeping chances for showers and storms fairly weak. It still will warrant rain gear for the day.

A stronger system will be moving in Thursday afternoon. Late Thursday into Friday has our highest chance for rain and storms this week. More widespread rain is expected with this later work-week-system.
