TPD: People Should Avoid Clown Costumes For Halloween

<p>Tulsa has seen two clown attacks in less than 24 hours, and Tulsa Police said they're concerned someone could get killed if the clown hysteria continues.</p>

Tulsa has seen two clown attacks in less than 24 hours, and Tulsa Police said they're concerned someone could get killed if the clown hysteria continues.

"This is Oklahoma there is conceal and carry and open carry and like I said people are fighting back when these people, these clowns are attacking them, so we don't want this to escalate anymore," said Jeanne McKenzie, TPD Public Information Officer. 

TPD said people should avoid dressing up as clowns this Halloween. 

The most recent incident happened Thursday night when someone dressed as a clown tried to rob a man of his bicycle near 61st Street and Highway 169, TPD said.
