Woman In Motorized Wheelchair Hit Crossing Tulsa Street

Police say a woman crossing a street in a motorized wheelchair was struck by an SUV in Tulsa late Thursday. 

Officers said the incident happened in the 6300 block of South Peoria just before 11:30 p.m.  They said the driver of southbound Nissan Xterra was cited for not having a driver's license.  

EMSA took the woman to the hospital to be checked out.  There was no word on her injuries.
