An Osage County K9 will get a protective vest thanks to a charitable donation. The non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. donated funds for 62 law enforcements dogs to get vests - including Roy.

The Osage County Sheriff's Office announced on Facebook that Roy will receive a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to the charity. 

Law enforcement dogs that serve with a department or related agency, are certified and at least 20 months old may qualify. You can find out more by calling 508-824-6978.
