Sheriff: Body Found Beside Sequoyah County Road

Deputies are investigating after finding a body beside a county road north of Muldrow on Tuesday.

The sheriff's office told KFSM, the CBS affiliate in Fort Smith, the man, who has not been identified, lived near where he was found.

They said the body appeared to have several injuries.

The sheriff's office says the body has been sent to the state Medical Examiner's Office to determine a cause and manner of death.
