Tulsa Man Shot In Possible Case Of Mistaken Identity

A man is in the hospital after being shot overnight near 51st and Yale. Police said he was walking with a woman around 12:30 a.m. Monday when someone yelled and started shooting. 

The man was hit in the stomach and taken for treatment. He's expected to be OK.

There was some damage to cars parked in the area as well.

The man told officers he believed it was a case of mistaken identity, according to Corporal Ian Adair. Adair said the victim believed the shooting may be related to an incident that took place last week.

He wasn't able to describe the shooters.
