Tulsa Brothers Sentenced To 50 Years In Prison

Two brothers are going to prison for 50 years after a Tulsa County jury found them guilty of raping a 12-year-old relative.

Prosecutors say Eric Robinson Jr., 21, and Geric Robinson, 22, repeatedly assaulted the child. 

Loretta Mary Robinson, 48, and Eric Anthony Robinson Sr., 57, the brothers' parents, were jailed in June on charges of permitting child sexual abuse because the child was in their care with the incidents took place, according to the affidavit.

Eric Robinson Sr. learned about the abuse when he walked in a room in their home and saw Eric Robinson Jr. on top of the victim, but he failed to report it, the affidavit states.

Loretta Robinson punished the victim after Eric Robinson Sr. made her aware of the abuse and made the victim stand in a corner with a phone book held above the victim's head, the report states.

She also urged the victim to not tell police and promised to get the victim ice cream on the way home if she didn't tell anyone, the affidavit states. 

Loretta Robinson and Eric Robinson Sr. will be tried January 2017.
