Week 3 Game Of The Week Preview: Sapulpa vs. Bishop Kelley

The Week 3 Wendy's Game of the Week kicks off Friday night in Sapulpa when the Chieftains host Bishop Kelley.

This week teams get one final tune-up before opening district play next week.

The Comets and the Chieftains are trying to build some momentum for that postseason push.

Bishop Kelley sports a 1-1 record so far this season. The Comet defense held Edison to 19 yards in the first half in a 42-6 rout in their season opener.

Last week, McGuinness knocked down a pass in overtime to win the Battle for the Shillelagh.

The Chieftains come in with an 0-2 record, but Sapulpa has played better than the record shows.

In week zero, Duncan scored in the final minute for a 24-21 victory. They also fought to the end two weeks ago in Choctaw.

Sapulpa will take the field to build momentum before next week's Highway 97 rivalry with Sand Springs.
