OSU Police In Stillwater Issue Warning After Sexual Assault Attempt

<p>Oklahoma State University Police say they are looking for a&nbsp;suspect after&nbsp;an attempted sexual assault outside one of the Stillwater school's residence halls early Friday.</p>

Oklahoma State University Police say they are looking for a suspect after an attempted sexual assault outside one of the Stillwater school's residence halls early Friday.

In a release from the OSU, police say a female student reported she was walking outside Bennett Hall just before 2 a.m. when a man wearing a ski mask approached and pushed her against the side of the building.

According to the victim, the suspect said he had a gun and made sexual comments. 

The victim said she was able to get away after the suspect became distracted by of a passing car and she “kneed him in the groin." Police said the student reportedly saw him holding something in one of his hands but it did not appear to be a gun.

The suspect was last seen running east from Bennett Hall on Hall of Fame Boulevard.
