Man Charged With Death Of Owasso Teacher Arrested

An Owasso man charged last month in connection with a fatal May 2016 crash was arrested Monday.

Scott Smith, 51, is charged with first-degree manslaughter in the death of an Owasso teacher.

Bobbie White died from injuries sustained in the May 15th crash.  Police say Smith had a suspended license when he hit the back of two cars that had slowed down for construction on the Bird Creek bridge. 

Jail records show he has a court appearance set for September 12th.
