Driver Arrested On DUI Complaint After Tulsa Highway Crash

Troopers arrested a driver for suspicion of driving while intoxicated after a crash on Interstate 244 Sunday evening.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the woman didn't appear to use her brakes when she slammed into a disabled SUV on the eastbound shoulder of I-244 near Utica at about 10:30 p.m.

EMSA took the woman to the hospital to be checked, before the OHP took her to jail.  A passenger in her vehicle was checked out at the scene and released.

Troopers said no one was in the disabled SUV at the time of the crash.
