A woman stole a Tulsa police cruiser after being pulled over.
According to officers, a vehicle with two people inside was pulled over for a wrong tag Saturday afternoon in the area of 21st and 92nd East Ave.
One of them was a woman with two felony warrants, police say. The woman with warrants, identified as Jessyca Stites, was put in handcuffs. While the officer was talking with the other person, Stites was able to slip one of her hands out of the cuffs.
Police say Stites then took the officer's vehicle for a short distance before abandoning it and taking off on foot. She was soon tracked to a shed in someone's backyard, according to officers. She refused to come out so a dog was sent in and she was taken back into custody.
Stites was then taken to the hospital to get treatment for dog bites and will be taken to the Tulsa jail.
