The master chef from Southern Hills Country Club took over the kitchen at Tulsa's Iron Gate Ministry Monday.
He and his employees served people biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs and fruit for breakfast.
Iron Gate said days like Monday are important because it gives their hard working staff a much-needed day off.
"Our soup kitchen is open 365 days a year. So, for a special group to come in and take over the cooking duties, the cleaning duties, the serving duties, it's really a huge help for us," said Maggie Hoey with Iron Gate.
The lunch menu whipped up by the Southern Hills staff included roast beef with mushrooms, onions and gravy; mashed potatoes; green beans and dessert.
