OHP Releases Name Of Man Killed Walking Along I-44 Saturday

Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released the name of a man killed Saturday by a man suspected of driving under the influence. Lonnie Bean of Tulsa was walking along westbound Interstate 44 near Yale Avenue when he was hit by an SUV.

Troopers arrested 27-year-old Tulsa resident Michael Francisco in the wreck. They say he had been drinking.

Bean, 54, was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital, a collision report states. Francisco was treated and released for minor head and internal injuries.

The fatality collision remains under investigation.
