We The People Oklahoma is starting a drive to help flooding victims in Louisiana. The community advocacy group is setting up mobile locations around Tulsa to collect items that will be delivered to Louisiana.

They are asking for donations including:

  • Non-perishable food items including baby food
  • First aid kits
  • Diapers
  • Gloves
  • Toiletries
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Pet food

The first location is the QuikTrip on the corner of Admiral and Memorial in Tulsa.  You can donate downtown at Smolen, Smolen & Roytman, 701 South Cincinnati Avenue or at L & C Designers, 5515 South Mingo Road. If you'd like your business to be a drop off location, you can comment on their Facebook page.

Other donation locations will be announced in the next couple of days, according to a news release.

"Many people have traveled near and far to help Oklahomans when disasters strike," the release states. "We should do the same."

We The People Oklahoma has a Facebook page called Tulsa2Louisiana for more information. You can also follow #Tulsa2Louisiana.
