High school football scrimmages continued Friday night as Jenks hosted its annual Trojan Preview and TPS All-City got underway.
Coach Trimble's club will open the season next week at Owasso. But on Friday they faced Muskogee in a practice game.
Jenks took an early lead in the first quarter when Noah Hernandez scored on a 1-yard touchdown.
Sophomore Ian Corwin kept the Trojans Rolling with a score to make it a 14-0 ballgame.
Muskogee got on the board with a 55-yard TD when Jacob Medrano found D.J. Mayes to cut the Roughers deficit, 14-7.
But Jenks maintained its lead to win, 14-7.
In the TPS All-City preview championship, Booker T. Washington faced Central.
The Hornets took a 7-0 lead when Camren Sanders handed it off to Tyler Holmes for a 5-yard score.
The Hornets strong defense soon led to another offensive possession in which Sanders and Holmes helped BTW to a 14-0 lead on a 5-yard TD.
Booker T. wrapped with a 28-0 victory.
