The Oklahoma State men's basketball team will host Pittsburg State in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. on Nov. 1 in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Head coach Brad Underwood will make his debut with the Cowboys after a three-year stint with Stephen F. Austin where he led them to an 89-14 record and three NCAA Tournament appearances.
The Cowboys are expected to field one of the conference's strongest backcourts with the return of Big 12 Freshman of the Year Jawun Evans and sharpshooter Phil Forte. OSU's leading rebounder, Leyton Hammonds, is back for his senior season, while Jeffrey Carroll,Tavarius Shine and Mitchell Solomon will be juniors in 2016-17.
The Gorillas enter this season following a 16-13 campaign with an 11-11 conference record including a loss in an exhibition game against the Kansas Jayhawks. The Cowboys and Gorillas have never met in an official game.
The Cowboys will tip off the regular season in Gallagher-Iba Arena on Nov. 11 against Campbell. Season Tickets start at just $199 through the OSU Ticket Office.
