Supporters Welcome Students At Tulsa's Legacy Charter School

Students at Tulsa's Legacy Charter School received a special "welcome back" Wednesday.

About 50 community leaders, politicians, educators, doctors and clergy greeted the kids with high fives and smiles.

Tulsa's Legacy Charter School is located at 105 East 63rd Street North.

Organizers say it's important for the students to have strong role models who can empower them to do great things.

They say the best people to do that live right here in our community.

They hope days like this will help inspire the next generation to success.
