Police: Man Shot During Apparent Tulsa Home Invasion Robbery

Police say a man in his 50s was taken to a Tulsa hospital after he was shot in the face during an apparent home invasion robbery early Saturday.

Officers responded to the victim's apartment in the 1100 block of South Quincy at about 4 a.m.  Inside they found the victim was found lying on living room floor.

He told police a young man kicked in the door of his apartment, heard a shot and then the man left.   The victim's neighbors said the suspect was seen leaving the complex in a white pickup truck.

Police said the victim was stable when he was taken by EMSA to a Tulsa hospital.
