The Rogers County Sheriff’s Office is looking for answers after a man was found dead Friday morning.
They said the body was found on the side of the road by someone driving past an industrial area in Catoosa.
The victim was identified as 27-year-old Casey Jones Adkins. He was in the Rogers County jail four days ago.
The Rogers County Sheriff's Office said, right now, they don’t have any leads.
"A lot of things, the things you're hungry to find out - motives, lifestyle, where he'd been, who last saw him - all those things are yet to be answered," Sheriff Scott Walton said.
Walton said, when investigators arrived at the scene, they found a dead man with several gunshot wounds and no identification.

"At that time, we had very little to go on," he said.
The sheriff said, despite having little to go off of, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation identified the victim by his fingerprints.
Walton said it's obvious to investigators that Adkins' death took place near where he was found, after finding shell casings nearby.
The area is north of Pine and south of Tiger Switch Road.
"If you looked at somebody that wants to get out of a populated area, and go to a remote area close to the edge of town, this would certainly serve the purpose," said Walton.
He said the Roger's County Sheriff's Office is familiar with Adkins.
"I think it was approximately four days prior to his death, he was incarcerated in the Rogers County jail," said Walton.
The sheriff's office said anyone with information should call its tip line at 918-341-3620.
