There are some big changes ahead for Tulsa Public School students for the upcoming school year on August 22.
Tulsa Public School Superintendent Dr. Deborah Gist says two of the changes involve school bus and class bell times.
Beginning this year, students in grades nine through 12 can ride on all MTTA buses free of charge on weekdays if they present a valid TPS Student I.D.
Dr. Gist says those rides will be available to students Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The district will also have bus routes for students who live 1.5 miles or further from their school.
