Tulsa Public Pools To Close For The Season Friday

Tulsa city pools at local parks will close for the season Friday.

After families get in one last swim Friday, park officials say our four-legged friends have a chance to dive in.

The City of Tulsa Park Department is hosting two K-9 Splash events this weekend.

The events happen at Reed Pool on Saturday and at Lacy Pool on Sunday.  Officials say two sessions will be available at each pool. Session I will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m., and Session II will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for each dog and must be purchased prior to the event. Four people can get in free with each dog.
