Police: Missing Okmulgee Boys Found Safe; Non-Custodial Mother In Custody

Police located two boys who were missing and considered endangered.

Okmulgee Police said the boys were taken by their mother over the weekend.  Officers said Zachary Roberts, 11, and Malachi Roberts, 13, were located Tuesday evening in Cherokee County.

Police said they believe the boys’ non-custodial mother, 32-year-old Amber Cornelius took the two. She is now in custody.

According to police, Zachary and Malachi were last seen Saturday morning at a home in the 200 block of East 8th Street.
