Oakhurst Family Escapes House Fire

Fire investigators are working to learn the cause of a house fire in Oakhurst. Authorities tell us two people in in the home.

The residents woke around 4:30 a.m. to find heavy smoke in the air. They managed to escape as the fire quickly spread.

The house is a total loss, but no one was hurt.

Berryhill, Sapulpa and Tulsa firefighters responded to the home on West 61st Street.

An online fundraising site has been set up to help the family.
