Former Fort Sill Commander Dies In Alabama

A United States Army general and the former commander of Oklahoma's Fort Sill is dead at age 55. The military says Major General John Rossi died Sunday at the Redstone Arsenal installation in Alabama.

Rossi had been scheduled to take over the Army's Space and Missile Defense Command and Army Forces Strategic Command. He had been in charge of Fort Sill until just a few weeks ago.

His death is still under investigation.
