Stolen Camaro Recovered, Two Arrested In Tulsa

Tulsa Police arrested a man and a woman early Wednesday after several 911 calls led them to a stolen Chevy Camaro.

Officers got the first call just after 2 a.m. about suspicious activity involving the Camaro in the 5500 block of South Newport Avenue.   They arrived to find the Camaro gone.  

At about 4:30 a.m. they got another call and this time officers located the Camaro and stopped it outside the Sand Dollar apartments in the 900 block of East 61st Street.. 

The driver of the car, John Williams, 27, and a passenger, Danielle Ross, 32,  were both taken into custody.

Inside the car, police found a semi-automatic pistol and other property reportedly stolen in Tulsa.

Williams and Ross were both booked into the Tulsa County jail.
