Authorities arrest a suspected DUI driver after a chase and crash on Highway 412 in Catoosa early Saturday.
Catoosa Police spotted the suspect's vehicle, a white Ford van at Admiral and 193rd East Avenue at about 3 a.m. and attempted to stop the driver. Instead, they say the driver took off, heading east on Admiral.
Police say at 300th East Avenue, the van got on Highway 412, heading west in the eastbound lanes. At 193rd East Avenue, officers said the van's driver hit a westbound car, causing the van to go off the road and roll onto an entrance ramp to Highway 412.
Police said the driver got out and ran, but an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper who was also involved in the chase, caught and arrested him. They said the driver was booked into the Rogers County jail.
Police say neither the suspect nor the driver of the other car were seriously injured in the crash.
