LeFlore County Teacher Charged With Rape Of Student

A LeFlore County teacher has been charged with second-degree rape and sodomy of a student.

Ryan England, 28, a teacher at Panama High School, was arrested earlier this month after an investigation, according to court documents.

An affidavit, obtained by KFSM, the CBS affiliate in Fort Smith says England was sexually involved with a student and also exchanged inappropriate photos through social media.

It goes on to say some of the incidents happened on school property as well as other locations, such as a cattle trailer.

Police say England has denied the allegations.

Court records show England is free on a $90,000 bond with his next court appearance set for August 8.
