After severe storms raked through Green Country on Thursday, clean-up efforts are just beginning.
"It happened so fast,” Mary Sue Brumley said.
Brumley is just one of dozens in Coweta cleaning up from high winds and plenty of lightning.
She watched as the storm tore through her yard.
"I sit at the kitchen table because we have no power and I just thought 'what if some of these limbs come through the window?'" she said.
She woke up to tons of tree limbs, shingles blown off the house and several trees split in half.
"Makes me sick, you know?” Brumley said. “My trees are 32 years old and you just can't replace them."
There is a lot of damage left behind from the storms. And now, the cleanup begins.
"We're trying now to just get the small ends,” Brumley said. “We're probably gonna have to get a professional to come out and do the trees, you know, and I've had friends call me offering help. I mean, everybody's been so nice."
It wasn't just neighbors lending a hand.
Broken Arrow street crews spent the morning picking up debris and downed trees on city streets.
While they knew storms were in the forecast, many were surprised by the amount of damage.
"It's just a mess,” she said. “It's just... no one saw it coming."
