Tulsa Police said a hit-and-run driver knocked out power to customers around 31st and Garnett Friday.

The incident happened at about 11:30 a.m.

Police said the driver was in some kind of construction vehicle and something attached to or carried by the vehicle snagged a power line and knocked out power to at least two businesses. 

The driver didn't stop. Police blocked off the road for a short time. 

It was the second 

Friday morning a semi snagged a power line and snapped a pole near 51st and Mingo.

That incident knocked out power to about 600 customers.
