Power is expected to be restored to Public Service of Oklahoma customers by around 3 p.m. Tuesday after a car hit a power pole around Reading and Quaker. Stan Whiteford, PSO, said it happened around 2 a.m.
The pole was sheared off, and about 500 customers were initially affected. That number has been reduced to under 10, Whiteford said.
Initial reports are that the car was abandoned at the scene.
PSO initially thought all customers would have power by mid morning, but a few were still without service at 2:30 p.m.
