After voting against the recent gun control bills, Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe accuses Democrats of politicizing the Orlando shooting.
"As we know, President Obama, every time there is a tragedy, every time there's a shooting, its always 'good, let's take away the guns,' and that just - it doesn't make sense," said Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Oklahoma).
Senator Inhofe said you don't resolve Orlando by taking away guns from honest, taxpaying citizens. Senator Inhofe says Democrats have denied families of the Orlando shooting victims time to mourn by trying to enact new gun control legislation.
He also told News On 6 he will be fighting for Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention.
Meanwhile, a confrontation over gun control brought pandemonium to the House of Representatives overnight.
Civil rights campaigner John Lewis and other House Democrats staged a sit-in on the House floor. It started before noon Wednesday, but there are still over 20 Democrats on the House floor Thursday morning.
