A big corporate donation is helping the Community Food Bank feed hungry Oklahomans.
Thursday, Land-O-Lakes delivered a tractor-trailer load with frozen macaroni and cheese to the food bank.
Workers wasted no time unloading the 40,000 pounds of food.
It's a generous gift with a long shelf-life, which the food bank says is perfect.
"It's a really convenient product. It's boil and bag or microwave, so it's something that busy families can really appreciate,” food bank director Eileen Bradshaw said. “Even picky eaters like mac and cheese and this is a really healthful version of it."
Bradshaw says Land O Lakes first contacted her about making the donation in May after Oklahoma made national news because of all the tornadoes.
