More than 4,000 people from across the world are in Tulsa this week for a development learning lab.
The International Economic Development Council chose Tulsa as a place to hold one of its annual forums.
The group has members who are small business owners up to CEOs of large corporations.
They will focus on Tulsa and the state's plan for future growth.
Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt said, "Continue to reward innovation, entrepreneurship and opportunities to small businesses so we can make sure, as we come out of this oil and gas downturn that we can look forward to a bright future."
Some of the other workshops scheduled for this week include how to attract corporate headquarters and how to recruit young, talented workers.
