Five OSU Players Selected In MLB Draft

Five Oklahoma State Cowboys have been selected thus far in the Major League Baseball draft.

Pitchers Thomas Hatch; Remey Reed; Garrett Williams and Tyler Buffett; and shortstop Donnie Walton were chosen during the first two days of the draft.

Hatch was chosen in the third round by the Chicago Cubs; Reed was a sixth round choice of the Miami Marlins; Williams was taken in the seventh round by the San Francisco Giants and Buffet was a seventh round pick of the Houston Astros.

Walton was a fifth round pick by the Seattle Mariners.

The final rounds of the draft will be held Saturday.
