The experimental solar-powered plane on a round-the-world journey arrived in New York City early Saturday.
The Solar Impulse 2 landed at JFK International Airport. As it flew from Allentown, Pa. to NYC, the plane flew over the Statue of Liberty.
The Swiss-made plane began its trek in March 2015 in Abu Dhabi and last month, making a ten day stop in Tulsa en route to New York City.
