Lawmakers cut $40 million from alternative education, which will have a big impact on places like Tulsa's Street School.
It faces a $107,000 budget shortfall; but Wednesday, the award-winning alternative high school received its largest-ever challenge gift.
The Canada Company says it will match all donations made to school, up to $50,000.
"The work they do here is just phenomenal. It's, it's more than I can ever even fathom," said Carol Robinson with The Canada Company.
Lori McGinnis-Madland with Street School said, "We have high-fived, been tearful, shouted out loud - it's been phenomenal."
The company said it will match donations through June 30th.
