Tulsa Police responded to the armed robbery of a Tulsa worker around 6 a.m. Monday. The man was filling up a construction vehicle at a lot in the 900 block of West 23rd Street.

The man told them he was robbed at gunpoint by a teenage male who ran off going northbound on Nogales.

Police searched nearby streets and an apartment complex but didn't find the robber. The worker wasn't hurt but did lose some cash, police said.

The robbery victim works for Lot Maintenance, a company that does all-purpose maintenance work for government agencies and other large companies.

Tulsa Police describe the suspect as a black male about 5'08 to 5'10" and 17 to 18 years old. He weighs approximately 120 pounds with short black hair and dark skin. Police say he was wearing a long sleeve black shirt, black jeans and carrying a black semi-automatic handgun.

If you know anything that can help police, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
