Tulsa Police Arrest Man For Attempted Rape

A man is in jail, accused of trying to rape a woman Friday morning at Tulsa's River Parks.

The woman told police she was walking near 74th and Riverside when 23-year-old Hacky Thomas grabbed her, pushed her to the ground, got on top of her and began rubbing her.

The woman said he ran off when she screamed.

Police tracked Thomas down and took him into custody.

The arrest report says Thomas admitted what he'd done and apologized.
